Delete your PrepLab account
This page explains how to delete your account for PrepLab: AI Interview Practice, developed by FlyOnWings, on iOS and Android.
How to delete your account
You can request deletion either of these two ways:
- In the app (iOS or Android): open PrepLab, go to Settings, tap Delete account, and confirm.
- By email: if you no longer have the app or can't sign in, send an email from the address on your account to privacy@preplab.ai with the subject line "Delete my account." We respond within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we permanently remove:
- Your account and profile (name, email, sign-in identifier, target role, goals).
- Your interview history: transcripts, messages, and report cards.
- Your AI Coach conversations.
- Your resume reviews.
- Your daily warm-ups, achievements, streaks, and skill progress.
- Shared links you created (achievements, streaks, skills, reports).
- Your referral history and in-app purchase and credit records in our database.
- Your active session (you're signed out everywhere).
This action is permanent and cannot be undone.
What we keep, and for how long
- Billing records held by our payment processors: Apple, Google Play, RevenueCat, and Stripe keep their own transaction records under their own retention policies. Deleting your PrepLab account does not delete those records.
- Conversion data already sent to ad platforms: if you arrived from an ad, we may have forwarded a hashed (non-reversible) email and user ID to Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads for conversion measurement before you deleted your account. This data cannot be recalled once sent. See section 4.3 of our Privacy Policy.
- Server request logs: retained for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then deleted, per section 5 of our Privacy Policy.
- Anything we're required to retain by law: retained as required for legal, tax, and fraud-prevention purposes.
Before you delete
Deleting PrepLab from your phone does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. If you have an active subscription, cancel it separately or it will keep renewing:
