PrepLab

Refund Policy

Effective Date: May 15, 2026

iOS purchases (Apple)

All purchases made inside the PrepLab iOS app are billed and refunded by Apple. We can't refund them ourselves. Use Apple's standard process:

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  2. Find the PrepLab purchase and choose "Request a refund."
  3. Apple decides the outcome, usually within 48 hours.

If Apple denies the refund and you believe there's a clear product issue (a charge for credits you never received, a duplicated charge, etc.), email hello@preplab.ai and we'll do what we can to help.

Android purchases (Google Play)

Purchases made in the Android app are billed and refunded by Google under Google Play's refund policy. Request a refund from your Google Play order history. If you have a problem Google can't resolve, email hello@preplab.ai.

Web purchases (Stripe)

Email hello@preplab.ai from the address on your account, within 14 days of the charge. Tell us what you bought and what went wrong. We'll refund:

  • Unused credits from a one-time pack.
  • The unused portion of a current subscription period if the service was unavailable due to a problem on our side.

Refunds are issued back to the original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.

Cancelling your subscription

  • iOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → PrepLab → Cancel.
  • Android: Google Play Store → your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → PrepLab → Cancel.
  • Web: Settings → Manage subscription (opens the Stripe customer portal).

Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your current period stays active until it ends. Cancelling does not by itself trigger a refund.

Free trials

If you start a paid free trial and don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be charged the regular price. To avoid the charge, cancel at least 24 hours before the trial's end (Apple), before the trial ends (Google Play), or before the trial ends (Stripe).
